Ancient Lore Village is a magical destination located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, just 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Our unique Village has been thoughtfully designed around fostering community and creating unforgettable memories!

Why did you build this village?
Founder Tom Boyd was touring across the state of Tennessee while his son Randy was running for office. Along the way, he encountered great people with a diverse set of personalities. However, he also found a dark side to those differences — not everyone appreciated them. In fact, people used those differences as an excuse to be hateful and intolerant towards each other. He built Ancient Lore Village to address this problem and teach people the importance of loving and accepting each other for who they are.
The book that started it all
The story of Bokee come to life! In “Bokee’s Trek: Outcasts To Inner Earth,” our hero takes an incredible journey and meets many different characters. Ultimately, he discovers that, no matter what the differences are, they can all live in peace, joy, harmony, and happiness. It’s a place where only good exists, which they call Ancient Lore Village.
What is our ultimate goal?
